Build your strength and stamina with aerial hoop. Beginner classes are a great introduction to aerial arts and starting your own aerial practice. In beginner classes you will build upper body and core strength as well as leg and shoulder flexibility. These classes focus on the fundamental moves and the aerial vocabulary that is necessary to progress into wider aerial skill sets. Beginners will learn various ways to get onto the lyra and work within the circle, more experienced students will begin to work above the lyra and in the ropes as experience allows.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear leggings, T-shirts, vest tops, shorts (over leggings) two pairs of leggings or long socks/leg warmers will protect your backs of knees and ankles from bumps and bruises that are an inevitable part of training in aerial hoop. We wear bare feet and also socks for training in the hoop, Bring a long sleeved top for warm up.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
This class is for Adults and kids aged 12+ and open to all levels.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
Booking each class or course is essential. Please book your place online or via our site. If for any reason you cannot make your class please cancel your booking with at least 24 hours prior to the class or you will be charge for the missed class. Places are limited!
